Which firm receives your details?
Your details go only to the provider. It runs the managed portfolio and any account you open, so any money you invest goes to it, never to Yieldfyze. Once it has your details, it is an independent data controller. Check the firm yourself before you deal with it.
Its legal name is the provider.
Who runs Yieldfyze?
We run the website, write its content and pass on call-back requests.
What is our role?
Yieldfyze is an introducer. We explain the managed portfolio and, if you ask, pass your contact details to the provider. We don't give personal investment advice, recommend that a product suits you, hold client money or carry out trades. Every account decision is between you and the provider.
Yieldfyze introduces people to the provider. We do not hold client money, give personal investment advice or execute trades.
How are we paid?
The provider pays Yieldfyze a flat fee for each introduction. The fee is the same whatever you decide and however much you invest, and it doesn't change the price you pay the provider. You pay Yieldfyze nothing. More detail: how we make money.
Exactly what do we pass on, and when?
We pass four things: your full name, your email address, your phone number and the date and time you gave consent. We send them once, straight after you submit the call-back form with the consent box ticked. If you don't tick the box, nothing is sent and we don't keep the form.
| Item | Why it's sent |
|---|---|
| Full name | So the provider knows who to ask for |
| Email address | So the provider can contact you if a call isn't convenient |
| Phone number | So the provider can call you back |
| Date and time of your consent | So the provider can show you asked to be contacted |
We send them to the provider over an encrypted connection.
Do we pass your details to anyone else?
No. We never sell, rent or pass your details to any other firm, and we don't use them for anyone else's marketing. Our own service providers, such as hosting and email delivery, handle data only on our instructions. The privacy policy lists them by category.
How do I withdraw consent or ask for my data to be deleted?
Tell us
Email privacy@yieldfyze.com and say you want to withdraw consent. We stop using your details, delete them apart from a record of your request, and tell the provider that you've withdrawn.
Ask the partner to delete its copy
The provider is a separate controller, so it makes its own decision on deletion. Contact it directly through the provider's website and ask it to stop contacting you and to erase your data.
Know the limits
If you have opened an account, the provider may have to keep some records by law, for example for anti-money-laundering rules. It will tell you what it must keep.
How do I check the firm before I invest?
Always check a firm yourself before you invest. Most countries have a financial regulator that keeps a public register of the firms it authorises. Fraudsters sometimes copy real firms' names, so look for these details:
- Find the financial regulator in your country and search its public register for the provider. Searching is free.
- Check that the name, website and phone number on the register match the ones that contact you. If they don't match, don't deal with the caller.
- The details to compare are the legal name the provider and the provider's website.
- Check the firm's status and whether it has permission for the service you want. If you can't find it, ask the provider which regulator, if any, oversees it, and check that answer yourself.
- Look at the regulator's warning list of unauthorised firms and clone firms, which copy a real firm's name and details to steal money.
- Note where to complain if something goes wrong: the complaints process on the provider's website.
